As both a licensed Physical Therapist and certified Yoga instructor with over 10 years of experience helping people recover from injury and illness, Debbie is uniquely qualified to guide her students through safe, energizing and healing Yoga practices. Her innovative yoga sessions are designed with the specific needs of her students in mind – using props and modified poses as called for to allow her students to explore Yoga as a means to strengthen, stretch and renew their bodies, while clearing their minds and refreshing their spirits. In addition to creative yoga sequences, sessions with Debbie can include breath work, meditation, and deep relaxation, based on the desires of her students. Debbie enhances the experience with inspiring and invigorating music selections.
Debbie has worked with varied client populations throughout her career, including professional dancers, top business executives, actors, health care professionals, contractors and homemakers. She has supported her clients as they recover from orthopedic injuries, neurological disorders, and chronic illness, and has had the unique opportunity to help people dealing with pelvic pain and pelvic floor dysfunction. Debbie’s love of Yoga and passion for rehabilitation drive every session with her students.
Debbie received her teaching certification in the Vinyasa style from the Center for Yoga Studies at Sonic Yoga NYC. She is a registered Yoga teacher with the Yoga Alliance, a national organization that sets standards and fosters integrity in the Yoga community.
